Role Description - Events

The Vice President of Events is tasked with organizing every aspect of events. Responsibilities include coordinating food, drinks, room bookings, and sign-up forms (including all related texts) to ensure the venue meets the required capacity. This role also involves liaising with companies to confirm event specifications, ensuring that all technological equipment in the venue is fully operational on the day of the event, and overseeing food and drink pickups. Attendance at all events is mandatory to provide hands-on support.

Role Description - Finance

The Vice President of Finance oversees all financial operations in conjunction with the union, handling claims, contracts, and invoices. This role requires a deep understanding of the union system, including the procedures for approving and creating claims, as well as signing contracts to ensure accountability. The VP Finance also assists with managing expenditures for events, such as ordering food and drinks, while coordinating spending responsibilities with the committee.
